Ingredients

8 servings
Wheat flour220 g
Orange3 pcs
Sugar150 g
Sunflower oil60 ml
Apple cider vinegar2 tbsp
Water2 tbsp
Soda1 tsp
Saltto taste

Preparation

1

Squeeze orange, 150 ml to prepare fasting biscuits. Turn on the oven and preheat to 180°C. Prepare a round shape with a diameter of 20-22 cm, put food parchment on the bottom and sides.

2

Sift the flour with soda and salt into a bowl. Mix each other with a whisk to get a mixture of a homogeneous consistency. Add sugar to the orange juice. Pour in water and vinegar. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Add oil. Mix again. Pour the liquid mixture into the flour mass, stirring carefully. The dough will come out liquid and this is normal. Immediately pour it into the prepared form and put it in the oven.

3

The fasting biscuit will be ready in 45-50 minutes. Check in the traditional way — with a wooden stick. If it is dry, remove the mold from the oven. Allow the biscuit to cool slightly in the mold, about 10 minutes. Then carefully remove from the mold and transfer to a platter. Allow the biscuit to cool completely.
