Home Kitchen terms
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This document is a template and is not legal advice. Have it reviewed by a qualified lawyer before relying on it.
These rules apply to "Home Kitchen" on mychef.ge: home cooks list dishes they make to order, and visitors contact them. By applying as a cook, or by sending a request or revealing a cook's number, you accept these rules together with the general Terms of Service.
What mychef.ge is — and is not
- mychef.ge is only a listing platform. It shows cooks' dishes and passes requests between a buyer and a cook.
- mychef.ge is not the seller, does not cook, store, transport or deliver food, and is not a party to the agreement between buyer and cook.
- Approving a cook or a dish means only that the listing meets these rules. It is not a check of the food, the kitchen or the cook.
The cook's responsibility
- The cook alone is responsible for the food: its ingredients, freshness, preparation, storage, packaging, labelling, allergen information and safety.
- The cook is responsible for meeting every legal requirement that applies to them, including registration with the National Food Agency or any other authority where the law requires it, and any tax obligations.
- The cook must describe each dish truthfully, including ingredients, allergens, portion size and price, and must keep availability and prices up to date.
- Photos must be the cook's own, or used with permission.
Payment and handover
- There is no online payment on mychef.ge. Payment and handover happen directly between the buyer and the cook.
- Pickup is the default; the exact pickup address is shared by the cook after accepting a request. Delivery, its fee and its area are offered by the cook, not by mychef.ge.
- Prices are set by the cook. The total shown on the site is an estimate based on the cook's listed price; the final terms are agreed between buyer and cook.
Prohibited items
The following may not be listed:
- alcoholic drinks for sale;
- raw meat, raw poultry and raw fish or seafood for sale;
- medicines, supplements sold as medicine, or anything claiming to treat a disease;
- anything whose sale is illegal in Georgia, or that requires a licence the cook does not have;
- food that is not made by the cook.
mychef.ge may remove a dish or suspend a cook who breaks these rules.
Reporting a problem
If something is wrong — a listing breaks these rules, a dish made you ill, or a photo is not the cook's — report it through the existing report form on the copyright / takedown page, or write to [email protected]. We may hide a listing while we look into it. Disputes about the food itself, payment or delivery are between the buyer and the cook.
Personal data
- A cook's phone number is shown partly hidden. The full number is shown only when a visitor clicks "Show number", and each such click is counted (without storing the visitor's IP address) so the cook and mychef.ge can see how the section is used.
- A cook's exact address is never published; only the city and district.
- A request's phone number and delivery address are visible only to that request's cook, its buyer and mychef.ge administrators, and are used only for that request.
- More is in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may change these rules. Cooks accept a specific version when applying; if the rules change materially we will ask for acceptance again.
