Ingredients

6 servings
Manan cereal200 g
Apples500 g
Wheat flour150 g
Sugar150 g
Sunflower oil5 tbsp
Lemon1 pcs
Vanilla1 tsp
Baking powder1 tsp
Cinnamon1 tsp
Saltto taste

Preparation

1

Wash the lemon well and pass it over to boiling water to remove the preservatives. Dry with a napkin. Grind the lemon with a fine-toothed grater so that only the yellow part touches.

2

Grind the washed apples without peeling them on a large grater. Cut the lemon in half and pour the juice over the apples. Maybe half a lemon will also be enough. Add zest, ordinary and vanilla sugar to the apple mass, mix well. In a separate bowl, mix manna grains, sifted flour and baking powder. Mix this loose mixture with grated sweet apples and leave the mass for 20 minutes — during this time the manna grains will puff up and moisten.

3

Preheat the oven to 190°C. Prepare a baking dish approximately, line the bottom with parchment and brush the paper with vegetable oil. Transfer the apple-mannan mass to the mold, leveling the surface evenly. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes, until it takes on a nice appetizing color. Allow the manna to cool slightly in the mold and then carefully transfer it to the grill to cool completely. Finally, transfer to a platter and sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon mixture on top.
