Ingredients
1 servingsPreparation
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Cover the removable mold with baking paper. Grease with coconut oil and sprinkle sugar on the base. Peel the orange, from the white part and veins. Cut the orange into rings and place them tightly in the bottom of the mold, filling all the gaps with slices.
Mix almond milk, vinegar, vanilla extract, vegetable oil in a whisk bowl (you can replace almond milk with coconut or soy milk in an orange fasting pie). Separately, in a large bowl with a spoon or whisk, mix flour, baking powder, salt, sugar (it is important to mix the dry ingredients separately, and not to put them all at once).
Add the prepared flour to the almond milk, mix immediately and carefully. The ingredients combine quite quickly and the dough begins to knead (the action of baking powder) already in the process of kneading. Add the prepared dough to the oranges packed in the mold.
Bake the orange fasting pie in the oven for 50-55 minutes. Check readiness with a dry wooden stick (it should remain dry). Let the finished pie cool for 5-10 minutes and transfer to a platter.
