Chicken and Pasta Gratin with Cream Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
6 servingsPreparation
Cut the leftovers of chicken meat cooked or fried the day before into fibers. Cook the pasta in salted water, drain it on a strainer, wait for the water to drain and return the pasta to the pot. Add vegetable oil and mix. Grate the cheese on a large grater. Grease the baking dish with butter and sprinkle the breadcrumbs on the bottom.
Arrange half of the pasta in an even layer on a baking dish. Then layer and spread the meat and the remaining pasta on top again. Melt the butter over medium heat, add the flour and mix until smooth. In small portions, add the milk and stir continuously until the mixture boils.
Add half of the grated cheese, salt, pepper, ground nutmeg and cook for 2-3 minutes with constant stirring until the cheese melts. Pour the resulting sauce over the pasta and meat gratin. Wash the tomatoes, cut them into plates and arrange them into a top layer. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and bake for 25 minutes at 200 degrees. The gratin is ready.
