Oven-baked chicken with apple stuffing Recipe
Ingredients
6 servingsPreparation
Prepare the chicken marinade: Toss ground black pepper and dried basil in a bowl. Add salt, honey, spices, add tomato paste and mix all the marinade ingredients well.
Wash the whole chicken and pat dry with a paper towel. Carefully spread the prepared marinade inside and out and store in the refrigerator for at least 2-3 hours, preferably overnight. Wash the apples, chop them, cut out the yolks and fill the marinated chicken tightly with the chopped apples. To prevent chicken barkley bones from burning in the oven, wrap the ends in foil.
Bake the chicken in the oven for the first 20 minutes at a temperature of 190-200 degrees. Then reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and continue baking for another 40-50 minutes. Periodically brush the chicken with its own separated juice. Check readiness with a toothpick or a sharp knife. If transparent juice flows out of the chicken during spawning, then it is ready.
