Botsveri in sour cream sauce Recipe
Ingredients
8 servingsPreparation
To prepare this dish, wash the meat of the beef and cut it into desired pieces, mixing each piece well with salt and black pepper to taste. Put the flour in a bowl and stir all the pieces of meat well into it. Heat the sunflower oil in a pan, fry the slices over high heat and transfer to a thick-bottomed saucepan.
Wash the carrots, peel them and cut them into small cubes. Peel the onion and cut the siege. In the same pan where the pot was burning, sauté the onions and carrots, stirring occasionally, until the onions are caramelized. Add sour cream and hot water, stir and bring the sauce to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes and remove the pan from the oven.
Transfer the carrot, onion and sour cream sauce to the saucepan where you put the previously fried beef meat, place it on the stove and after the sauce is boiling, cook it with the lid covered, over low heat, for 45 minutes, or until the beef is soft and tender. A minute before readiness, add minced garlic to the dish, for a spicy taste and aroma, and the botsveri is ready in sour cream.
